An Open Letter from the CEO
Dear MetaDojo Family, Friends & Supporters,
2022 has flown by, with its highs, lows and everything in between! It has been a very special year for MetaDojo because it was its first year of being fully operational. Like the early stages of a baby, it was filled with priceless memories and milestones. We became ‘we’ since the establishment of our team in January and February. Despite the challenging market conditions and unpredictable macro environment, we started marching toward our vision without wavering throughout the remainder of the year. This saw us gaining almost 37K followers on Twitter with weekly YouTube videos and monthly Medium publications.
MetaDojo Mission — To contribute to the transformation of the internet economy and social interactions from Web2.0 to Web3.0.
- To provide affordable and ready-to-use solutions for scalable metaverse land development.
- To empower metaverse landowners with tools of MetaFi utilization.
- To assist Web 3.0 mass adoption by offering website-integratable 3D virtual worlds to individuals, businesses and organizations.
We started the year with the fabulous news of the successful completion of the seed round fundraising.
In February, we celebrated the Lunar Year of the Tiger in style with a competition to win 1 of 188 gorgeous Tiger Dojo Guardians, which attracted over 60K valid entries.
In May, we premiered 6 Dojos out of our Contemporary Collection and introduced our interactive features through a competition called the Magic Seed.
As we entered the second half of 2022, MetaDojo kicked off its first cohort of the Ambassador Program with an exciting party in the metaverse.
In July, our reputation as a premium metaverse builder reached a new level when we co-hosted a global Web3 summit — Web 3.0 Disruptors Week with StarLab Incubator. This 5-day long conference featured many world-leading academic as well as industry leaders. MetaDojo was honored to host all talks and sessions in the unique metaverse way via a spectacular expo center called the MetaBloom.
This success was followed by an awesome metaverse exhibition with a high-end interior lifestyle brand Atelier Changphel in August. This showcased how brands can stay engaged with the digital native generation through metaverse retailing.
In September, the much-anticipated Web2 solution welcomed its Alpha Launch. These 8 beautifully designed and modeled Dojos provide our users the opportunity of having their own functional 3D spaces that can be directly embedded in their website and/or social media platforms. Free trial is currently open to all believers and supporters.
In October, the second cohort of the Ambassador Program started with over 400 applications.
In November, MetaDojo announced the privilege of being accepted as an official metaverse builder by Bit.Country. We initiated this partnership with a special Dojo collection for its pioneer metaverse world Kaosland in early 2023.
To finish the year with a high note, MetaDojo sponsored the Kaosland Cup 2022, a FIFI inspired event which attracted thousands of community members.
2022 was not a dull year for sure, filled with surprises and challenges, both pleasant ones and undesired as well. Nevertheless, driven by firm belief in the future of Web3, strong dedication shines through the work of the MetaDojo team. We sincerely thank all of our investors and community for their support. We won’t be here without you!
